First off, thank you for all those who attended. Based on the input of tonight's meeting, things look very optimistic for MCFS. We have found students, faculty, and staff who share a common interest in promoting the appreciation of cultural diversity. We are looking forward to welcoming more members to our Meet/Greet meeting in January.

Decisions Made:

January 22nd will be the next MCFS meeting. We will be having a Meet/Greet meeting to market MCFS to students. It is not confirmed yet, but the meeting will likely take place on the Main Campus in the Forum. It's been suggested to provided drinks or other snack-like items.

A meeting before January 22, 2008 is needed to help prepare materials and "pitch" for students to join MCFS.

  • brochures about the club
  • flyers about the meet/greet
  • contact sheet

Election date is set for January 29, 2009. We will be deciding at that time an official executive committee.

Also, students have the opportunity to sign up for committees for the Spring Celebration.

Note: Please do not pass out the flyers from the meeting. Due to time/date changes, a new flyer is needed.

If you are interested in designing, please contact Allie Chi. Her office has graphic software that can be used in creating brochures, posters, etc.

Overall, the meeting was very productive. Again, thank you for your attendance and contribution.
